Data Scientist

Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Prices and Living Conditions | September 2022 to Present

  • Develop and prototype applications in support of economists and statisticians using Flask, FastAPI, PyScript, PyQT, and other Python frameworks.
  • Research methods of improving the calculations of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), and other metrics.
  • Develop data visualization tools and dashboards using Tableau.


Primary Data Analyst

Department of Veteran Affairs, VA Palo Alto Clinical Command Center and Patient Experience | November 2019 to September 2022

  • Support emergency department, surgical, and other acute care clinical staff through data visualization development, data preparation, cleaning, data process automation, and regression/statistical analysis using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power BI
